by Vika Bryzhak
You’re bored with your ordinary vacation, the thrill-seeker inside of you wants new impressions, sharp feelings and new friends, then It’s time for you to go camping to the Crimea. The Crimea is one of the most picturesque places in Ukraine and camping is a great way to enjoy the great outdoors.
You’ll get an opportunity to breathe fresh air, contemplate marvelous wild nature, meet sunsets and sunrises, sit near the campfire singing songs or listening to the guitar.
The next step is packing a backpack. The main mistake which the new campers make is not making a checklist. Consequently they don’t bring everything that they wanted to or needed to bring. So let’s make a checklist of the most important things to avoid forgetting them.
You need: a tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, backpack, first aid kit, food and kitchen appliances, clothes for different weather (don’t forget a raincoat, cap, swimsuit), things for personal hygiene, miscellaneous Items (compass, flashlight, GPS, tools, matches, bug spray, camera, cell phone).
Here are the most popular routes in the Crimea. These routes aren’t easy at times, because you ‘ll have to go up mountains to see beautiful views:
1) Demerdzhi Plateau, North Demerdzhi Mt. (1356 m) and South Demerdzhi Mt. (1239 m), Valley of the Ghosts
How to get there:
1. Angarskyy pass (road from Simferopol to Alushta and Yalta) 2. Perevalnoe village 3. Luchistoe village (bus from Alushta)
